anyone call nvc yet?

I just received our NOA2 in the mail yesterday, so do you think it's too early to call????

Call where??

NVC

Not too early.. it took almost 6 days from the the actual NOA2 to get my hard copy in the mail, and I didn't get the hard copy of my NOA2 until after it had already been to NVC and sent on to the consulate.

02/23/08 - Met in Turkey
07/09/08 - Denial of Visitor Visa to U.S.A.
06/04/09 - 2nd Denial of Visitor Visa to U.S.A.

09/22/09 - I-129F Sent
09/24/2009 - NOA1
10/19/2009 - NOA2

INTERVIEW DATE - February 23, 2010 - also the two year anniversary of the day we met smile.png

03/30/2010 - Married

04/29/2010 - Mailed AOS Packet
07/14/2010 - AOS Approved!
07/24/2010 - Green Card in Hand!

04/26/2012 - Mailed ROC Packet
01/03/2012- ROC Approved

01/10/2013 - 10 year Green Card in Hand

04/14/2102 - Mailed N400 Packet

05/13/2013 - Biometrics
08/19/2013 - Citizenship interview

Thank you for the response, I'm starting to get the paperwork completed for my girlfriend. She's here on a tourist visa and going back to Poland on December 6th, 2009. That way she will be there ready for the interview and perhaps I can visit her in Poland and come back with her.

I've been a silent observer until now, but we just got our NOA2 email today! We filed Aug 21. This was truly a lot faster than I had expected. I guess the real work begins now, but it's so exciting! Hooray for all of us Aug CSC filers.

anyone call nvc yet?

I called yesturday and Our case has not been received as yet. I got the email approval NOA2 last Thursday? and the hard copy arrived just Monday. From California to NVC... a few days.. sitting in the in-box 1 day, in-processing 1 day; so I figure it should be in the system today :clock: or tomorrow and be assigned that last number...

We are so perched and ready it is rediculous. ( we actually filed in Mar 09 and it was lost) All of our paperwork has been waiting to launch at them; in a kind and friendly manner of course. I have been going through the entire package over an over, and I am amazed at all the little things you can overlook that may or may not be needed to be included as evidence.

It's all relative I guess to the person reviewing on the other end.

Posted this somewhere don't know where it went but I'll post here for where I intended for the AUG 2009 CSC filers.

Send both just in case. (I-134 & I-864)?

Heads up all!

Not to cause alarm but I went to the NVC website http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_1342.html and at the bottom they declare “Important Note: The NVC cannot accept Form I-134 for immigrant visa processing. The NVC only accepts the appropriate I-864 form(s) listed above.”

I realize this is two separate entities, and two separate forms. I did not send my I-134 with the Petition to USCIS, and I have sent nothing at all to NVC; it goes from USCIS to NVC.

The Embassy/Consulate in Colombia site says they want the I-134 Affidavit of support.

I am sending the I-134 with the package to fiancée for her interview and as a precaution I am also including the I-864 for her to carry just in case they ask for it. Better safe than sorry!

Thoughts? Concerns? or just heads up take your pick!

does anyone know how to track the package from nvc to the consulate? i tried the instructions, but it's not working. my package left nvc 11/4/2009

I found one going to Lebanon. REF # 8808537183

To find it I put in the following: EXP 03 NOV 2009A with a ship date between 11/3 and 11/4. It was on the third page of today's shipments.

Maybe this is yours?

As I had thought, like when I found out the petition was approved, it was while I was checking on-line. Our package went in and out of NVC in the same day Nov 3 and is on its way to Colombia. One day Service from the government is great news to me!

how did u do that? and it says it went to boston, ma do u think it will get picked up from there, then sent to it's destination?

When I was tracking packages I thought might be mine it seemed the go to Boston, then to Cincinatti then on overseas. Mine stopped in Germany on the way to Turkey.

i just called dhl and they have an estimated date of arrival: saturday nov 7 2009...i hope it's sooner, just signed up for the notification through text and e-mail on any status changes

I put that reference in, and lots of other references in, and the tracking keeps giving me an error! Can anyone put that date in and tell me if there is a package going to sydney?
