wow , hdkimo. that's kinda confusing for me....lol...

I did fill the DS 156 online because they asked us to do it there, but i think all DS 156 link are online and create specific barcode. I just hope i'm doing this right.

I guess the real showtime will be in couple more days....Jan 14th..

Yeah...I'm pretty confused too. Just got done authoring a very nice and polite email to the embassy.

We got a paper DS-156 with her packet 3 as well. No barcode on that one though. Rolling the dice, we'll see what next week brings!

Whoa....that doesn't sound right! Can they confirm that they indeed DO have your paperwork? And that it was not lost?

well the infamous "last update" date did change a few days back.. so i assume they have not lost it ...

Hey guys, well i just thought i would update you all on our progress. We are still without a interview date, having sent in my 156 the 2nd week of december, I phone the london embassy everyday last week to find out if the know anything, they dont. They told me to email the consular, which i did last week, still waiting for a reply. In the meantime, my better half gave birth to our first child. Only problem, im 7000 miles away waiting to get all this done

^^ hey, I'm also a London filer and wanted to let you know that in the past few months, London has only been assigning interviews once a month at the beginning. I'm in your boat too; I sent packet 3 off in early December, they didn't file it until later on in the month and looks like I just missed the cut off for a late Jan/Feb interview. Sounds like we'll have to wait until the beginning of February to hear about Feb/March interviews.

Have you called DOS to make sure that you're eligible for an interview?

Hey, thanks for the number, what's the best time to call them from the UK? Yes i sent in ALL my paperwork, my medical file was sent in 5th Jan, so they have that already.

they're open from 0830 to 1600 m-f

It usually takes about 2 weeks from when they get the last paper to file everything and be eligible for an interview, but they will tell you up to 6 weeks.

I think I'm more nervous and anxious than my fiancee..... who's actually going to be doing the interview.
