Just to give an update, my rfe was for me not checking a box in Part C, they printed out the question again and I just marked no and signed it. I was so mad at myself, it was something as simple as checking a no box. They got my response already and hopefully I will see an approval soon.

Potentially good news...my profile was "touched" just today...and it hadn't been "touched" since August. Hopefully soon it will be approved!

The-Sagel, I would not place too much hope on being "touched" our case was never touched... Never! Dates never changed. It could be any number of things, one of your names could be similar to someone else with a petition...many cases have passed through; ultimately approved and was never touched. Many cases from philipines have similar names...think positive and keep working on the forms for the next phase! Stay ahead, look ahead. Always think positive! Good luck! Your time (NOA) is coming soon!

Just keep playing with the dates, if you package was supposed to be sent the 5th, for example, try both the 4th and the 6th of pickup dates. I had to play with dates for a little while until I got it.

I'm still trying to figure out how to track package from NVC to Indonesian Embassy.

DHL website keeps giving me no shipment found.

Wonder if i do something wrong.

Just for reference, my NOA2 was 2009-10-28, my NVC Receive date was 2009-11-06, and my fiance received her packet (Singapore, not so far from Indonesia) on 2009-11-11. Very little time in between. I have stopped trying to figure all this down to the minute! It seems that the US government, the embassy's, and the couriers all take their sweet time updating tracking and notification. By the time you figure out where or when something is it's old news! Good luck to you!

LOL @ hdkimo

By the way, does my fiancee need to fill out DS 157 and DS 230 part I?

I read and read, and I don't see these docs are being mentioned as part of the requirement for interview?

I also notice that DS 157 is only applicable for male?

I'm hoping to schedule for medical appointment in December and accompany her.

Anyone knows if NOA2 expiration date means anything? like we have to be approved by then or something?

According to Packet 3 from the Sydney Consulate, "You must be interviewed and have your visa issued within the four-month validity of your petition." So yes, four months after the issuance of your NOA2 is the deadline to have your visa by. You can ask for extensions from the consul, I believe.
