A lot of people from the middle and end of August seem to be getting touches and approvals. CSC better not be forgetting about us couples from the start of the month!

Just checked our tracking again....no touch. I've never wanted to be touched by a stranger so much in my life. Maybe ours will be a petition when it is never touched, and out of the blue we get our NOA2?

Thought I would drop in and say hello, our NOA 1 is August 25th. We still havent heard anything yet, its nice to see some August people getting approved.

Speaking of which ours just got approved today, wahooooo! They touched it on friday, then literally 10 mins ago I got an email saying they had approved it, so I guess they just waited till after the weekend! One step closer, lol my fiancee was almost crying down the phone

08-15-09 -- I-129F Sent! Here we go!!

05-20-10 -- K1 Approved!!!!!

06-29-10 -- Mike flys into the USA

09-18-10 -- Wedding!!

10-16-10 -- EAD/AOS Mailed

10-23-10 -- Biometrics appt received, 17 Nov!

We got a touch today! Hopefully this means an approval is very close! I just called my fiance (it's 2 am in California) to tell him. Needless to say, he was excited but the sleepiness won out, lol. I'm thinking good thoughts for all of you right now! We're all in this together :)

Sorry for the double post, but there was no edit button on my previous entry?

Good news, August girls and boys! Out of the 20 last approved petitions in Igors list for CSC, 12 of them were from August! It's funny though, CSC must be working backward through the month or something, because more than half of them were NOA1's from after the 15th of the month ;)

What do you guys mean by touched, or is that just me being silly. NOA1 on Aug 18th, does that mean im close to my NOA2?

A touch means that someone at the service center handled your petition. They scan it to show the system they are in possession of it. Sometimes it can mean that an approval is close, since they are probably looking at your petition, or an RFE is going to be issued, again, since they are looking at it, or it can mean your petition is being moved from desk to desk. You can tell if your case was touched because the date on your portfolio on the USCIS site changes, but the status of your case does not change. And if you have an NOA1 from mid august, sit tight because it looks like CSC are starting to sift through our month! NOt in date order, by the looks of it, but it good news for us anyhow!

We got a second touch today, but no approval. I'm getting antsy here!

HEY! The CSC worker who keeps touching my petition! I know it's a great read and has some pretty pictures in it, but lets get to the business end of things here ;)
