I was Spooky's BFF before Calypso and 5 showed up.

Spooky and I pretty much invented the chopfucks thread. Well, Marc too, of course.

Now that spooks has a big heart and is a somebody, I'm gonna ride his coat tails to fame and fortune too.

BTW, Len sends regards to all her fans. She's regrouping.

It will be 134 posts more before my second small heart arrives. :rolleyes: I surmise that my hearts won't grow that fast. I can hardly wait to get a job and earn my own money again. It feels different when my husband hands money compared to those times when I got my own cash.

It will be 134 posts more before my second small heart arrives. :rolleyes: I surmise that my hearts won't grow that fast. I can hardly wait to get a job and earn my own money again. It feels different when my husband hands money compared to those times when I got my own cash.

My wife is looking for a job now too. She got her green card recently, and is finishing up some coursework and had her visit to Thailand. Now she's getting down to serious interview mode.

Let's have a race and see who gets there first, my honey or you! I'm betting on my honey, of course :)

My wife is looking for a job now too. She got her green card recently, and is finishing up some coursework and had her visit to Thailand. Now she's getting down to serious interview mode.

Let's have a race and see who gets there first, my honey or you! I'm betting on my honey, of course :)

She apparently arrived in the U.S. first. Why do you keep comparing me with your honey? Is it because Thailand and the Philippine archipelago are both in SE Asia? :unsure: I've had enough competitions since grade school. :lol: I remember that even in grade three until I was in college, my classmates would always ask what my score was every after quiz or major exam.

Anyway, seriously, my husband keeps telling me that I don't have to work. Sure, he is paid quite high and has side projects. Yet, it really feels different when I get to collect my own cash. We still have to talk about this.

Thank you. Good luck to you too. It is good to have the sense of accomplishment of having your own career and income, and the independence that comes of that.
