Personally, Jagger/Richards, but as you say, it is nearly impossible. Jagger/Richards have been together for about 48 years, Lennon/McCartney about 10. As you may have guessed, I'm a bit of a Stone's fanatic. I'll never forget the feeling of seeing them live for the first time.

I'm with you there.

I only saw them live once - it was 2002 at PacBell Park in San Francisco. By then they were already old, and our seats were way way up there, so the only way to see anything was to look at the Jumbotrons. It was fun, but I enjoy listening to them at home better.

I have that problem with my wife. But that's ok, I'm training her to appreciate the greats. She in turn keeps babbling about this Lady Gaga character

I don't have a specific musical genre. I can appreciate The Beatles, Beegees, Chicago, Richard Marx, etc. I listen to Mozart and played his CD to my students in a few sections. I memorized Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin' Park, and some boybands' lyrics in high school, and I know a lot of the young pop stars these days.

My younger sisters like Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga but the latter is one helluvan absurd creature. Gaga's songs are fine but her fashion statement is out of the universe.
