Your right sometimes I guess I do play down comments made. Believe me I am as excited about touches as anyone else. I just dont like people making comments that lead others to believe that this is going to be fixed overnight. Long before I became a member of VJ I lurked around watching posts and learning what I needed to do. As I read the posts my hopes would soar that it would be quick and painless because so many people were making predictions that sounded like fact. Based on those I told my fiancee some very unrealistic dates for her visa approval. My mistake. I should have checked the facts using the stats available here and at other sites. I just dont want others to not hear both sides.

Dont mean to discourage people. Just want them to know the full story and know that random comments stating things are going to speed up or change overnight are nothing more than wild speculation.

I hear ya. It's a fine line between excitement & overreaction, most days on here. I got touched every day from 7/3-8, and I'm a May NOA1. I can't help but get a bit excited that it means good things, even tho I know it might not be. Still, I will take it as a good thing, my case is being looked at. It keeps me saner that way. ;)

Dont blame you there, would get me excited also. Course you realize that if you get your approval before me I will never forgive you (just kidding). Would be excited for anyone who didnt have to wait as long as we have!!!!

FWIW, I'll back you up. If it's not one Service Center, it's another. VisaJourney was born out of the Texas SC protests a few years back.

Realistic expectations are better for *everyone* in the end.
