Can anyone help?? We received this notice from USCIS. Is it good or bad?? When they say "Another Office" what does that mean? Where did it go? We already had the notice that it was sent to the California processing center and now... ?

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing

On July 23, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow the instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 to update your address. You can use our processing dates to estimate when your case may be processed by following the link below. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case by registering in the link below.

07/09/2009 RFE arrives at our home, regarding I-864 affidavit of support

07/14/2009 Mailed RFE to Dept. of Homeland Security; Lee's Summit, MO

07/16/2009 RFE received at Dep. of HS

07/17/2009 Case processing has resumed

It's good = means they were overloaded and ship it to a SC that is faster...

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
