maybe one of the times you called they keyed something into the computer wrong and it came back with that request thing instead of just sending a regular letter? It happend to me a few times, not with immigration but with regular things i was paying for they keyed stuff in wrong and i was almost billed the wrong things. Maybe try calling again at a later time and see if you get a different operator and try talking to another person?I really hope this gets sorted out. sorry its taking so long and they are doing stupid things!

there were touches on our case on the 28th and 29th.

on the 28th they sent out a letter that states:

Applicant or Petitioner requested refund on 7/16/09

they add that the processing of your case has been delayed due to back ground investigation so our case is not ready for a decision.

what is that i never requested a refund!!!!!

what is going on please if anyone knows i called them today and they didnt have any idea either

there should be a law to protect us from csc

sara

Perhaps it's a typo and it was meant to say "applicant requested review..."?

Refunds?

It is probably exactly as Bobby said. If you have any doubts you should schedual an Info Pass appointment asap & go see USCIS. That is the only way you will know what is really going on & stop the maddness.

Sara,

I have followed your case closely, as I'm sure many here have. I had to write and send you a huge virtual hug. I can only imagine the range of emotions you go through each day, each hour, working your way from despair back to hope every time.

Well, just in case this is one of those moments where you feel you're not going to be able to pick yourself up again...remember that we're all here to offer a hand and help you get back up.

Just wanted to say that. Please hang in there. We will all celebrate with you the day you get approved. and that day WILL come.

Nancy

Have you been able to fly down to get married in his hometown yet?

Maybe you ought to simply pursue the I-130 route
