Hello,

I filed in June Cr-1, I called today and they told me that they are backed up until February at the california center. What does this mean timewise? I would be receiving NOa2 in 5 months?

Check the priority dates in the USCIS site.

When we filed our I-130 last November, we were projected to have our NOA2 this August. But hey! We got our NOA2 last January.

Trust USCIS that they are doing their jobs. Though waiting is pain in the A$$.

Hmm I find it interesting because I'm tracking all the IR1/CR1's here on VJ and everyone has already gotten their NOA2's I think the last was 6/25. I looked at the stats and most all the March filers have their NOA2 also. Wondering if they told you they are still working on February so you wouldn't bother calling them for another 5 months.

They are just reading a script, all that tier 1 is allowed to do... it means the posted processing as can be accessed at the link above is Feb 15... That means little to nothing.. look at the average time to get NOA2 for CR1... check timelines above...
