Hi friends.

I want to ask a question about parents visitor visa. My brother wants them to come to usa. He is going to apply for their permanent immigration..but it will take 8-9 months time so he wants them to visit usa now on visitor visa and after they will go back to india he will apply for permanent immigration.

What all does he have to do?

Our parents are in india and i am going to usa this month.

Which are the forms to fill and what are other documents that they will need in the process.

I wd really appreciate your help.

Thanks a lot

Your parents would normally go to the nearest US embassy and apply for a visitors visa.

However, in India, ironically, it is outsourced to this place.

Your brother may need to send a letter to them (inviting) them to visit, and that he will financially be responsible for them.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
