G-325A - can I submit copies of the documents I used during the K-1 application process?

I am currently helping my fiancee fill out all the forms needed to apply for her Adjustment of Status (AOS). I see that a form such as G-325A is a form that we already filled out when we applied for her K-1 visa.

My question is, can we submit a photocopy of this form when applying for AOS or do we need to re-write this form again and submit the original?

Also, for any financial support documents related to I-864, do I need to submit original documents again, or can I simply send photocopies of the support documents we used during the K-1 application process (used with form I-134?)? Thanks for any advice you can give.

Her status is changed (she is now married), her address is changed, her job is changed, and possibly her name is also changed - entiende?

like motu said, you have to send a fresh G-325A. there is too much that has changed. even if she retains her maiden name, the form is now for "status as a permanent resident" as opposed to "other: k-1 fiancee", she will also have to fill out the part about having a spouse, date of marriage, PLUS she has to sign and date it. it won't take more than a few minutes to do a new one and print it out.

as for the support docs for I-864, since i can't see your timeline, i have no idea when you applied for her k-1 or anything to determine how old your documents are.

if its just you sponsoring her based on your income (not using co-sponsor or assets), then you will need RECENT paystubs, a RECENT job letter (i don't know how recent is recent for USCIS but to be on the safe side as recent as possible), and your last tax return. if you sent your 2005 tax return for k1, you haven't filed again so that's the one you'd also need for AOS. i think you can photocopy that without a problem.

i know its tedious to keep filling out forms, especially when you think USCIS should already know all the information, but I guess its a necessary evil.
