I would like to ask in this forum if anybody had experience in this problem that we been through , On July 24 Chicago office receive our AOS package as far as i know with in 10 days they will send u receipt but its been weeks we never received any letters from the USCIS we suspect that our physical address that we fill up in all forms could no longer receive any letters so we decided to call the 800 number to change address into our Mail box. About 1 week we receive the notice letter in the mail box stating that they change our address , on July 25 we receive our noa1 for 131noa1 I- 765 but haven't receive our noa1 I-485 until now, My worries started to begin its been a week since we had our noa1 for i-131,i-765 but missing our noa1 i-485 , are we going to call their attention or we wait for another couple of weeks? if we don't receive our noa1 i-485 are they not going to give us biometrics schedule?

advise or opinion is highly appreciated thanks

There is no rule stating that within 10 days they will send you a NOA. NOAs (for I-485, or others) are taking anywhere from a week to a month (sometimes less, sometimes more) to get - it does not mean your case is not being processed from when it was received.

If you paid by check, you could check the back of the check submitted to USCIS and that will be bearing the Receipt Number. That way you could check the status of your I-485 online. USPS is known for losing mail and I am a victim of it too. I had filed for I-130 and didn't receive any NOA1 for it till date, despite the fact that my I-130 has been approved after 7 months. Since we received our statements online, we checked the submitted check to USCIS for I-130 and retrieved the Receipt number for our application. Thats how we started tracking our case online. Mind you, I-485's aren't always viewable online, so if you can't view it, don't think your case isn't being processed. Atleast you could track it by calling USCIS.
