American Football in the UK

Hello there,

Any fellow Brits follow, or involved in, American Football in the UK? I had a few sessions with Edinburgh Wolves some years ago, but I was playing our kind of Football at the time so never took it seriously (played cornerback in their kind, striker on our kind) until a bad ankle ligament injury ended my paticipation in both.

I mostly do 'watching'

I like watching it, luckily on Sky we get a fair few games. Although I am moving to Tampa, I don't think I will go to the games there, I see there are season tickets available. I'm a long time season ticket holder at Man Utd and the whole Glazer thing, well not going there. Have been to see the Giants play though, who would be "my" team.

I'm also a trainee referee for American football here in the UK with BAFRA, and this is something I would like to keep on when I move over. Seminole Heights highschool is literally 1 minute walk from where I will live, could be handy for HS games if I can get accepted as an official over there.
