You are the peitioner so it sounds like your the one who forgot to sign something...

I did not. I signed my name in the signature for Part "D" which is the only place there is for me to sign on the I-29F. The only other place to sign would be in "Part E. Signature of person preparing form, if other than above" and that is not the case since it is me preparing the form. Here is a question. I sent them copies of everything. Could that be the problem? Was I supposed to keep the copies and send them the originals???

Sounds like that's it Originals not copies I would sign it in blue ink as well.

Ok, last saturday, I sent off my I-29F with all the other paperwork needed. I got it back today with a slip saying that my fiance needs to sign the I-29F. The thing is, I don't see anywhere on the form where she needs to sign. The only part that I could think of was where it says they need to write their name if the characters they use are something other than the roman alphabet. Could someone post up a copy of the I-29F showing where she needs to sign. I don't want you to post up an actual copy, just a blank copy and type in "she signs here" in the correct block. Please do this as soon as possible so I can mail this off to her Monday morning and get it back from her ASAP to turn it into USCIS.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, let me try to help you. I had my I-129F NOA2 in 16 days and I here is the guide:

Step-by-Step Guide on How to File for a K-1 Visa for your Foreign Fiance(e)

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1guide

Make sure to take your time and read carefully, everything you need to do is right there. At the first sentence they also say:

Make sure you sign and date them as required. Anything you cannot fit by typing, you can handwrite (very neatly) in black ink in the blank instead.

That's how we did. I had my papers filled and signed and sent it over Mail, so he could have the ORIGINAL paper to send to USCIS. I suggest you to spend a good time reading and making sure that everything its perfect. It took us 20 days to get the final papers done and ready to go.

Wish you luck, take deep breathe and keep the faith.

Beinha

My life is perfect now, I'm here with my love and everything is great! I feel blessed, thank you God for all your plans, they are way better than I could have ever asked for.

Documents and proof of relatioship: you send copies. But the FORMS you must send ORIGINALS. Just re-send originals of your forms with signature on ALL them. :star::luv:

Thanks for the info all. I put the package back together with the originals this time and I'll be mailing them off tomorrow. I guess I better get on putting together some more I-29F and G325A forms together that are signed with blue ink just incase the originals that were signed with black ink come back.

Good move. Savvy Legal Eagles know to sign in BLUE ink, so that it is readily distinguishable as an ORIGINAL documents.

Copy machines are doing too good a job these days, so it is harder to distinguish between an original and a copy.

Good luck!

You know, I had a friend that mentioned the whole blue ink thing to me one time. I just kind of blew him off. After looking at my forms, I could see how blue would really help. It just so happens that I did use a gel pen and it really is hard to tell. You can barely see any grooves to tell if I pushed down hard while signing. I think I'll just let the ink bleed through the paper next time.

If I may clarify a suggestion:

If you're gathering another round/batch of original ink signatures, get 2 extra 'original signatures' for each page of each form that needed signed. This way in case any other mess ups happen, you have back-ups of the original signatures (and not just more 'useless copies') and do not have to spend yet more time waiting for her to mail them to you again.
