Hi! I've been looking into some ways to get my fiance' some kind of health insurance once he gets here and we got married. I have health insurance at work and it's free, but to add someone to it would shoot my monthly payment up from $0 to $650 :o which we just cannot afford. Does anyone know of some affordable health insurance options (i.e. -$200/month)? Or any insurance particularly for recent immigrants? I realize that not having health insurance is a huge problem for many Americans, let alone immigrants, but I figured I'd ask and see if anyone else has any information.

Thanks! :)

Varies by state, but $200 should get you something basic with a reasonable deductible.
