Seconded. This is amazing and infuriating at the same time. Not directed toward the OP of course - I'm very happy and only a little envious for them! But infuriating in view of just how arbitrary USCIS can be about adjudicating these petitions. "In the order they are received" my... left foot.

Hi,

I understand your comment and as I have mention before, I have no idea why we got it so fast. But anyway it doesn't mean our journey is easy and that's our first huge great news in a good while. We really deserve to celebrate now and and I just wanted to post it to give everybody hopes and show that, as far as we don't know why, seems they are getting faster.

I wish all of you good luck, stay confident and pray, don't let the challenge overwhelmed you, sometimes we need time, we just don't know. Patrick and I, we had to be apart for 18 months, and trust me, it was horrible.

Stay positive!

Beinha

Congrats. Seems like the service at CSC is getting even better. I wish they would send a few of the adjudicators over to VSC, or at least tell them what it is they're doing in their workflow to be so efficient.

Congratulations on your approval! Next your file will go to NVC. Ours went through rather quickly and was at the embassy a few days later. We have our interview set up for September 1st. The embassy seems to be moving pretty quickly as well. So you are from Santa Catarina? My cousin is there right now. I have always wanted to visit there. Tudo de bom para voces e espero que estejam juntos logo!

That is amazing! You are truly blessed to have such a quick approval. I think the rest of the journey may actually be LONGER than the wait for the NOA2 hah! That's a first ;) You'll be together before you realize it. Congrats :D

Thank you so much for your words, you made me laugh!! I bet the NOA2 will take longer haha and also, I think we worry the entire process, it will only end when I finally move there. Now I'm dreaming about Christmas, I can't help myself!

My life is perfect now, I'm here with my love and everything is great! I feel blessed, thank you God for all your plans, they are way better than I could have ever asked for.

You absolutely deserve to celebrate, far be it from me to suggest otherwise. Just wish USCIS could figure out how to move everyone through as quickly—clearly it IS possible.

In keeping with Beinha's "Stay positive!" advice—

VSC does seem to have gotten the memo: 23 NOA2s this week—and that's just the ones who have updated their timelines!

Nope, look at the OP - that's clearly an NOA2 email from USCIS.

I'm sorry if I disappoint you but YES I HAVE THE NOA2, I made a mistake on quoting the funny girl that made me feel happy wishing us only the best. What I meant to say is: I bet the INTERVIEW will take longer.

My fiance and I, we work on our Petition Fiance together without a lawyer, but we have an amazing friend Lisa helping us as she got married same way and her first advice was "go check Visa Journey website". To make it short, we have sent the I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance to USCIS on 2009/07/11 and we got their response on 2009/07/15 and last night 2009/07/31 we received their email saying:

*** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL ***

The last processing action taken on your case

Receipt Number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On July 31, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I have to thanks Lisa so much and all of you that share here all information we need to make it happens!

Now we are ready to keep doing what it needs to get married :innocent:

I have no idea why we got it so fast

You never answered, are you or your fiance in the US military?

Yes, I did... maybe it wasn't very clear. He is not in US Military. There is nothing special about our process, we just made everything as they ask, fill the papers, family photos, emails and all stuff we all know.

My life is perfect now, I'm here with my love and everything is great! I feel blessed, thank you God for all your plans, they are way better than I could have ever asked for.

Actually you did not say you and your fiance are not in the US military and this was not an expedited case, at least not in this thread or in English. Congrats and good luck.
