Is it proper to include your western union receipts for the additional evedinces to bring along with your docs for the USEM interview?

Any advice is highly appreciated. Thank you!

Sure. It wouldnt hurt to bring it with you. If they ask for it, then show them..if not, then keep it. I brought mine along with my bank book and everything in case they ask for any evidence of support that i get from my husband. They didnt even bother to ask about it.

HELL YES!!!!! Its all about showing a relationship and that includes demonstrated ability AND desire to contribute to the relationship. Unless you are financially secure, then its a toss up. But, better to have them with you.

Went for her interview on July 16th and received her Pink Slip......Finally. Paid the AIR21 and I expect her here August 10th, 2009. Marriage will be August 21st, exactly 4 years to the day that we first met.

yup it is helpful...because when i had my interview...my hubby's income just made it to the poverty guideline in hawaii...then his pay stubs doesnt really show his income as he gets it more in tips...but when they saw all the western union receipts they were satisfied about it because my hubby always send me twice a month so i had lots of western union receipts that time hehhehehe.

hey in CR1 case to show is ok bcz it is wife u send money and that is acceptable

in the K-1 case u can bring with u but dont show him unless they ask u for it, bcz CO might think u r getting the money from ur fiancee every week or every two week or something like that, K-1 to need to love relation not the fianance relation in between you n fiancee. just be careful what to include and what u show to CO in the interview, you dont want to raise a red flag. good luck. abby n sheryl

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. Let me answer this coz Ive had my interview recently and my friends went through the same thing. To Pweetty, they would really ask for any evidence of remittances and it would only show that your fiance can very well support you. In my case, I am employed here so I have my own income but I asked my fiance to send me some money when we got our NOA2. I was also advised for other K1 filers because they were asked for any remittances receipts during their interview. I'm very sure that it will not raise a red flag. Good luck! :star:

Forgiveness is not saying what someone did to us is right. It is saying, "I'll let God straighten this out"..

I am not sure if money transfer receipts can hinder or bolster the presence of a genuine relationship. In my case, I showed them the PNB receipts and the interviewers did not offer any comment. I don't know if such receipts were relevant or material to my visa approval.

We are getting a little bit paranoid here....

those receipt was exactly what i shown for evidence for the initial I-129f filing plus phone logs and some picture and regular mail(very little) + receipts from trips there and it was approved, it will be same for the Embassy interview in approximate a month from now.

I doubt it will raise a red flag....i think there are OTHER issues that will raise a red flag like not remembering the day or moment of the engagement, not knowing particulars about you fiance such family, kids, divorce, job etc,etc

But in the end...do what you feel comfortable with and be calm and prepared for the interview...

Best wishes....
