What would be the odds of us being able to get extremely cheap hotel rooms on the way down and back though? I can't do a ten hour drive.

The call is still on for Georgia couples (or half of waiting couples :) ) to meet up at Unicoi State Park on October 24 - the weather is lovely these days and I understand in the mountains they are starting to get a hint of fall colours (hasn't started here yet). We're really looking forward to visiting with everyone and hope we have a great turn out. So, add your name to the list if you're coming! (You can show up even without adding to the list if it is a last minute thing, too),

Only 2 weeks off! I am looking forward to making some friends and trading stories. Right now I am stuck in "additional processing" at the NVC -- hopefully I will have some better news by the time we get to Unicoi!

05/04/09 -- K1 visa, NOA-1

09/18/09 -- K1, NOA-2

01/26/09 -- Interview passed in Moscow

03/02/10 -- POE, JFK airport

05/23/10 -- Wedding!

11/16/10 -- 2-year green card approved

04/01/13 -- 10-year green card approved

11/23/13 -- N-400 mailed

Joel and I are looking forward to this too! He's asked for that day off and usually he gets it, so...for me that's even more excitement! Here's hoping you have something exciting to share with us at Unicoi! :thumbs:

Fall is definitely in the air here today - along with a lot of rain! I'm really looking forward to the 24th - it will be great to see everyone - and the scenery at Unicoi State Park will be exquisite.

02/12/2011- Received Descheduled letter

02/17/2011- USCIS online Status update

02/22/2011-New IL arrived schedule for March 29

02/22/2011-Descheduled Letter Again ( 2nd Time)

02/23/2011- I called USCIS and I was told new schedule in the computer for March 22

02/23/2011-USCIS ONline update....

03/01/2011-Interview Letter for March 22 @ 7:15 AM

03/22/2011- Interview and Oath; US Citizen
