Hi Mark I'm not sure if I could make it in Vietnam I don't have the charisma you do I think you could make it anyplace.

As far as this being a noid letter its worse its a nod. Notice of denial they didn't give me a chance to appeal it. If this was notice of intent to deny or revoke then I would have a chance to fight it.

My only hope is if this is a mistake and sombody clicked on the wrong form email or if CSC has changed there wording on expired petitions.

I think I can file a Motion to reopen but I am not sure how good my chances are with that. I do not know what went wrong?? I never cancled my visa unless my old attorney did without telling me. I did not get anything in the mail they said they would notify me if they needed anything but didn't send out the NOID letter or even a NOIR letter. If it stand as a NOD on her file then they won't approve of my CR1 at the USCIS and if by some chance it gets approved before it becomes a hard denial there is a good chance the consulate office will deny it.

I appreciate the ringing endorsement Bryon. I stand by the statement though. You'd be fine. I can assure you that if it did come down to moving here you'd find good paying work in no time flat. I'd walk you through the whole thing.

Wait for the letter to arrive and proceed from there.

For example: I went to the bookstore today to pick up a few textbooks. I ended up having a conversation with the director of a local electronics company that does work on the power grid. Turns out they need someone to teach technical English to their employees 10 hours every week. Wage? $30 per hour. I know you're capable of that and there should be other companies that need that type of teacher.

On July 30, 2009, we mailed you a denial decision notice for this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). The notice explains why the denial decision was made and the options that may be available to you. If you have not received this notice within 15 days from July 30, 2009, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance.

Now I did file for a CR1 this was on my K1. I can think of 3 things this might say. 1. The petition has expired I can refile again. 2. The petition is invalid since I am now married and filed for a CR1. 3. We upheld the consulate denial your wife is banned for life 212.

Has anybody ever gotten this what should I expect? The wait of 15 days is a killer.

I receive the same notice , same day, ( July 31st 2009 ) I also dont know what to do with this

this is normal, I get the same email and denial letter for K1 visa, since I already send letter to cancel the K1 long time ago, my CR1 go throught and my wife get blue sheet.

no thing to worry about K1.

CR1 timeline:

11/2008: submit I130

11/15/2008: case sent to CSC

06/02/2009: uscis approval

08/05/2009: interview-get blue slip request timeline

08/25/2009: submit timeline - get denial blue slip

The problem is that I never canceled my K1 so I don't know why I got that letter. If mine expired or they canceled it because they found out I was married from the CR1 I filed then that is ok but if somebody canceled it without letting them know I was married IE old attorny or case worker then that could be very bad.
