and about that bean soup... it was delicious, added some lemon pepper and a bit of garlic and chipotle powder... delish... and HOLY SH!T, farting contests ensued. Bren won. By a slim margin, mind you :dead:

If you were still around (and not passed out from the noxious fumes) to concede victory to Bren, then it was NOT good enough. When I make my bean soup...one of us usually 'loses time' for a bit. :D

####### kind of beans do you people eat?

The awesome kind. Dunno, how others make it, but I use smoked pork hocks in the broth, and make a roux. OMG it is mmmmm delish! But the evening we eat said delish soup, all bets are off, and it tends to generate the silent killers....so you never know what hit you until it's too late. :o

Got back from the cabin a while ago. Chopfvcks painted the house light blue. Our ex neighbour died last year, we found his grave on the cementary. The farmer is still alive. The restaurant closed. The bus stop got moved. Other than that, same old. A beautiful sunny day and I wish we coould have just went back into the house and make it ours again.

We went to a country side Italian place...the food was cheap and tasted like that too. Mom and I annoyed each other during lunch and had a quick fight followed by coffee. Then we went home.

I am sooooo lazy! As much as it sucks and is annoying to be without internet, I get more work done when my internet is down for 1 day then I do when I have internet for a week. I have no self control. Arg....okay, getting out books now, but I WILL be checking back quite frequently so keep up the entertaining banter!!! ;)
