Yeah, I'm exciting about October. Here in Brazil it's just hot and we're doing only a small courthouse thing, so it doesn't really matter which month...but October in Georgia is really pretty with lots of orange, yellow and amazing leaves and nice weather ect...so it'll be a good time to have our big shebang wedding when we get back to the US and a nice time to celebrate the anniversary!

And Amby: I don't know. Maybe you guys could all talk about it and discuss something else! Since there are only 6 people couldn't you find something a bit smaller than a party bus (even a big limo....as it's not for the wedding, but rather the party before). It might or might not be the same price I don't know. If you don't think she will like it you might not be the only one thinking that. Maybe have a group meeting and talk about it some more!

I have a question for my SAT peeps...

So...bachelorette party. Maid of honor is supposed to pay for it, right? Well, one of the bridesmaids has decided we should all pay $100 each for a party bus so everyone can get really drunk. This party bus holds 15 people. Only 6 people would be paying for the bus, 3 of the 6 people plus the bride don't even drink. Plus, I highly doubt the bride would even like it because she has expressed how much she does NOT want a limo for her wedding even though we offered to pay for one for her. The party bus thing is just NOT her. The bus thing is supposed to be a surprise. I think she will pretend she likes it because she knows everyone paid for it, but deep down she won't like it. What do you think? Should I pay $100 even though I don't drink, and I don't think the bride will like it?

just pay for it. it's not like u dont have money

I'd rather pay that much for something she would actually like. I've spoke to 3 other people and they agree with me, but no one wanted to say anything because they just thought everyone else was on board for it. I think we're going to put the money towards their honeymoon instead of the party bus.

I'm with you. If I was the bride I'd rather the money go towards something my husband and I would enjoy (honeymoon). It seems selfish for people to want the party bus when it's really for their benefit, rather than the bride's...

Thanks Jen.

I think everyone except for the two crazy party girls agree with me that we should put the money towards something else she'll actually like.

I'll get her a card and write in it "donated $100 in your honor to the spooky masturbating turtle"

Hey Amby...

If the bride does not drink, #######! I don't think she will appreciate this #######. How about you all pay for a spa day (I know, I am obsessed with spa pampering); of how about what I did when I first got married: hire a magician for adults, and have a nice couples bachelorette party, all tricks and fun.

OR y'all go t ot one of those ceramic painting joints, and ALL paint a clock for her --- this is fun as hell; and it cn be a lovely pre-wedding gift from all the bridesmaids :)

No charge, Len, wedding planner extraordinaire.
