Mom left on Monday. As sweet as she is, and she really is, it was more of a burden to have her here than a help. Plus the chain smoking was driving me nuts. I hadn't left the house since Monday and did some "cooking" which means scrambelled eggs or salad - nothing that required cooking really. I have been at home for over a week now and hardly left the house, so today I washed my hair, changed my plasters (not so easy since one is on the back of my shoulder), went grocery shopping, did dishes worth three days and just made dinner. And now I am ready for some pain killers. But the arm is so much better already, I even type with both hands at times now and I only wear the sling at night. Tomorrow they remove the stitches and I start physiotherapy (for 6 months twice a week! :o).

For dinner I "test drove" the caprese skewers, but without the skewer - white balsamic, since it look cleaner and mixed with with a bit of pesto, olive oil, salt and pepper and poured it over the bocconcini with cherry tomatos and fresh basil. It was really good.

The Simpsons are at Trader Joe's. Homer bought a lobster.

I am glad you are all at work now, my social life currently depends on SAT. I miss my colleagues at work a lot. :crying: I hate having nothing to do - a weekend once in a while is fine, but everyday? Not for me.

I'm sick and somewhere there is a stitch poking out of me and rubbing on my binder. When I pull the binder off to find the stitch I can't find it. It's driving me mad. I'm skipping my 1pm class today because I'm really that sick. I never skip class. I feel like death. :(

I didn't eat anything. Well I had tea. I woke up with the most horrible pounding sinus headache ever. My entire face hurts. I can barely keep my eyes open. The sickness thing is making my body even more sore than it was already. I don't know ####### happened. I want to kill the girl that walked into my class on Tuesday snotty and hacking away all over everything. I hate her! Stupid #######!

I also just got an email from Columbia telling me I need to have my application in by October 1 for the early decisions and November 1 for regular decisions. Fabulous.

Hope you have fun with your VJ people.
