I lived about 2-3 miles west of the airport but worked right on 72nd ave right there where that plane crashed years ago........

I used to live in Doral, and we'd watch the planes coming in for a landing from our swimming pool.

My mom has lived in the doral since 1985 when it was just cow pastures...........

We lived there for 9 months...not too long, but long enough.

Funny thing about Miami Int Airport: No one will speak to you in English, not even to Justin (who is very much obviously a gringo :P )

When we came back from Buenos Aires last time, we connected through MIA - I had to be his translator

Saludos,

Caro

Hey hermana!

I have a bad shoulder pain day...still in my jammies...Cleo and I are watching The O.C. re-runs. I need to buy groceries and do dishes, but I don't see that happening with my arm. Meh. :(

Vegas, nice!! Take lots of photos, you can never fail with vegas pics and they look pretty framed with white passepartout and white frames. :)

No on to Gilmore Grils re-runs now. *sigh*

Oh, no kidding! Even living in Miami - no one speaks to you in English unless you ask. Fortunately, that wasn't a problem for us, but it does suck. I remember our grocery store close to our home - Sedanos - no one spoke English. My mother was so confused. I said, don't worry - we'll go to Publix (Where shopping is a pleasure and they make sure everyone speaks English!). hehe

My Mom has the hardest time if she can not find what is is looking for in a store. They either choose not to understand her or just plain do not. It's funny to a point but sometimes gets on my nerves. One chick at KMArt starting talking trash about my daughter ( goth stage  ) in Spanish we look the Gringo ( well I Am anyway ) WEll when I let her have it in Spanish she ending up calling the police cause I told he butt I would be waiting for her outside. My poor daughter was mnortified :P She got over it though as she knows how I am.

Yeah Pedro in 23 says. Julie poor thing

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

I can't wait to be with him, seriously. I miss him even more now that I am sick at home. Cook, shop, sleep in, hold hands, laugh - everyday stuff that is so special when you can't have it everyday.

I hope my shoulde recovers until then, so we can go on our little USA roadtrip, attend Dairyfarmer's wedding, see Mags and Platy and my family in OH. :( The way my shoulder hurts at the moment, I don't see myself surviving a 1,600 mile trip in a car. :(
