This day reminded me of why I love teaching and also why I don't get along with some of my rude, snobby colleagues.

Don't get me wrong, there are some lovely lovely people I work with...and then, there are those who thrive on biting sarcasm, treating others like #######, and acting as though all others who aren't in their clique are inferior.

I'm too old to put up with that #######.

yummy. the commissary didnt have naan, so i bought pita instead, then 2 cheese, tomato, garlic, onion, basil, oregano, tomato sauce, hearts of palms, bacon and sardine.

Maybe they lost out in the Miss Universe pageant...or some such beauty pageant. It hurt their little psyches and well, this is their way of dealing with the pain.

Srsly...I do know what you mean. Some have this uppity attitude that makes me wanna jack slap the feces out of them at times...and right now is NOT a good time for a uppity 'tude with me. Menopause is teh svck!

yum minus the sardine. there's something about hot olives and sardine or anchovy that i just can't enjoy. i think i will buy some hearts of palm to put on the next time i make pizza.

jen i understand. my friend basically had the same complaint. maybe she's getting too old for her young age

I love humor and fun and laughter and sarcasm. But I don't like it or appreciate it when TEACHERS use it against each other. We're supposed to be role models, not azzholes. There's a time and place for humor and sarcasm but I have to wonder at those who use it non-stop. Are they just missing some important component in their lives? Are they unhappy? Are they just evil? =)

It's sad because some of these people are excellent teachers but I just can't stand to be around them because of their attitudes. My only hope is that they will not stay long...
