Hey kids,

All good over here, surgery was ok. My throat just hurts from the tubus and my shoulder is a b1tch. We got lost on the way to the hospital though, so that was the only sucky part really. My Mom has zero sense of direction. So I was late and had to wait for an hour. Then it all went pretty quick - surgery took 1 1/2 hours, apparetnly my tendon required some stiches since it was about to rip. Going back to the doctor tomorrow for a check up and to change the bandages.

I am quite achy and already took a nap, but it's ok, I guess it could be worse. My arm is bright orange due to the desinfectant and I look like a ooompah loompah or however it's spelled. Can move my arm a litte bit, my hand is ok, I just can't pull up my pants or lift. Mom is doing a great job as a monkey butler.

But thank God I can type. Can't miss internet time, can I?

YAY!!! I'm so glad your surgery went well. Get plenty of rest and enjoy the down time. It goes by faster than you think. I wish I could have the time back after my c-section when everyone was doing everything for me.

Yes a body sock It took me about 15 minutes to find a freaking measuring thingy. I must still be super swollen because my hips are bigger now by 6" than before surgery
