Not knocking the gym thing, but how do you manage to actually break a sweat and read at the same time? The image is quite disturbing to me

(I tried spinning, it made my butt cheeks numb so I quit, but the ones I saw reading on the stationary bike just were not putting any darn effort into it and I used to think what a bloody waste of time to sit and read with a sore #######)

I hear you. It's not like I do the bike thing at 100 km/hour  so there is not much sweat involved :P

You only sweat during zex!

spinning is one of the most intense sweat breaking class I have tried yet.

(of course if the gym is not your thang you always have bedroom activities that could also render some good caloric burning and sweating )

It is just all over cardio, toning the legs and booty

I worked in a gym for 15 years and I still dunno how they can actually read while on the cardio machines.

The bike I can see but not any other piece of cardio equipment.

I like it when they have TVs and you can tune your walkman/radio to the channel you wish to watch.

If one is truly hustling on those cardio machines then they are moving so vigorously there is no way

they would be steady enough to read, in a dim lit gym, on the eliptical, treadmill, stairmaster or crosstrainer.

And if you aren't moving vigorously and sweating then simply put, you are not working

Or it would be cool if they affixed a book-holding thingy, eh?

I don't like exercise routines - but I love aquafit. I think what I like about it most is that you don't do any one movement for more than a couple of minutes. An hour simply flies by and yes, I do sweat

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
