Yo everyone!

I miss Ms Squirrel :(

We decided to take a break today. Yesterday we drove to France, then Switzerland, through Austria and back to Germany. We all pretty much hate each other today.

Morning! I just love how people come into this thread and seem annoyed at how we act. GTFO! if you don't like it. Nobody asked you to come join us.

Oooh, I guess I missed something good.

Awww Jennie :luv: That is so sweet. I loved all the talking we did and hope that we get to see each other again soon.

Vacation is always hard on families. So much time together without breaks is not easy. Catch up on sleep and maybe have some cake! Ohh that raspberry cake was amazing. But I think it's also good that you didn't go to Munich today, you have been all over Europe, so a rest is well deserved.

Went to the endocrinologist today. They took 9 tubes of blood!! I felt so drained. I am allowed to add apples to my carb free diet, how good is that. I need more tests done and they might leave me unmedicated and on a carb free diet.

The only treatment option for me is metformin, but it's known to increase cravings and I really don't need that. The weight has just been falling off me since I quit carbs, so I'd like to keep it that way. I am so glad they looked into the insuline restistance and now I know why I got so big. I am on a constant sugar low, so any type of carb I eat goes straight into my fat depots. I don't miss eating carbs, since without the carbs my fatigue is also gone. I feel 100% better, seriously.

Today in a week is my shoulder surgery already. Time flies.

Have you been tested for celiac's disease? I have a cousin who stopped eating carbs and dropped off the weight big time. Then her doctor decided to test her and they found out she just couldn't have gluten. She's now as thin as she was in her early 20s and happy as can be. She's found it really easy to use things like rice flour instead of regular flour.

Don't think it's that. I had no weight issues the time I was on the pill, I could eat whatever I wanted and stay the way I was. It all started when I stopped the pill in summer 06. So I don't think it's gluten related. Plus the 20+ cyts on my ovaries also speak for it.

Morning people. You will all be quite proud of knowing that I have been keeping up with the gym thing. Surprising, I know.... :o

So far I am only doing 20 minutes of the bike thingy -since i can read at the same time :P but of course i will need advise from Nessa, our resident workout queen, for a LIGHT upper body routine :)
