Pffft... nothing kinky about nostrils and humidification and salination! This is SERIOUS business. I don't have dry skin really or any other afflicitions but as soon as it gets cold and the heating gets turned on, my nose drives me bonkers all winter long. Dry, hurty and an open invitation for sinus infections and colds.

I am all about nostril health -- and on that basis alone? We can forge a friendship...

:D

:D

Actually, I'm all with you on the saline douche for the nostrils!

I have a saline squirter that I carry around with me and I squirt my nose out about 3x a day... It looks like a little Otravin pump bottle but it's just saline which is what the Netty pot is.

I agree with you TOTALLY on this. As if I do get a cold, it's always the sinuses that get all hurty and stuff... Saline spray and hand washing is what I hope will keep me less sick this year!

:D

Frog legs, you kinky thing! I have one too, when I am travelling on a plane. Like a saline nasal spray. And I always use a bit of bepanthen in my nostrils (nice, we turned this thread into a nostril and mucus one!). And I have a humidifier at work to keep the air moist, that is super important also. I still get a slight angina every few days plus swollen glands in my throat but I fight it with homeopathic drops that work wonders. :D

As for the real sudafed - I can't do it, I get paranoid from speed.

Nostril health lovers UNITE!

As for the humidifier, I use regular water and clean it with vinegar every two weeks. That thing holds a gallon and no way I am carrying a gallon of destilled water to work every day. lol

Dear Dr. House,

Why am I so unmotivated and grumpy? Is it lack of Dr. Pepper?

I am sorry to hear that -- I had no idea....

I'm a bad cyber friend... I haven't read back on all the threads.

Well, their loss, that's for sure...

I recommend Dr. Pepper as well....

Or a glass of red wine on the deck.

no boss for a couple weeks. life isn't that terrible. in a perfect world we'd meet our boss, be told what to do then only see the boss again when they come give you a bonus.

Yeah, Washington State, where vampires go not to sparkle.

I meant not for the tan, Len, just for the light. :D

I am on my fourth bowl of cereal. I am cereal dependant. :crying: I drank a liter of milk with my cereal. I love milk since my Mom told me I should not have any because it's bad for me. I was so hungry since I hadn't eaten all day.

We didn't have a proper fall lgg (can I just call you frog legs? I like that much better than lgg. What does lgg stand for?). It's cold already and I have to wear my winter coat and boots.

Today, I could see my breath when I left work. Time for a beanie.
