Julia - great fondant work! did you say your cousin lives in cleveland? I only ask because my friend lives in cleveland and she is getting married next year.

My sister just brought me a list of stuff to do for a baby shower next weekend. Under my name is just a list of things they want to borrow like trays, serving utensils, etc. Under her name is a list of things she needs to make or buy. I just spoke to my mom and she said they were all laughing their azzes off when they made the list because my sister volunteered herself to make all this food and she doesn't even know how to make a freaking sandwich. When they were done with the list they all decided to give it to me so it would actually get done. <_<

Yes, it's my OH cousin. She lives in Kent now, but is from Bay Village/ Cleveland.

Here is her super cool site (she is a graphic designer). She has really fair prices and she makes those cakes with love. She is making her own wedding cake too for her super duper hardcore detailled planned wedding in July.

Morning SAT peeps.

I'm still sick :( Last night I spent 45 minutes cleaning my humidifier because I left water in it at the end of winter. I think I stopped using it right after I had arm surgery and couldn't really do anything about cleaning it then.

Anyone else see this commercial with the doctor rapping about the flu?

Thanks! I will pass the site along to my friend.

Wow...just looked at the prices and they are the lowest I've ever seen for that much detail!

Hello friends!

Susita, I hope you feel better, love! You too, Amber.

Jules, that cake is AWESOME!. And btw, I want carrot cake now. But I made brownies instead.

I'm a bit saner today. Auction is over, I took a whole weekend off from grading and the dog only cost $260 instead of $1000. Whew. She has hay fever and a skin allergy. She's also flea-free, but is allergic to fleas, so even one causes her to break out. She has to take Benadryl (which makes me laugh) and an antibiotic.

Happy 20th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall! I can't believe it's been 20 years!

Also, prayers for my MIL tomorrow, please! She's having open heart surgery to replace a faulty valve. Then she gets 10 weeks paid and mandatory rest at a wellness spa on Lake Constance. She's quite looking forward to that! I dearly love this woman, so I hope the surgery goes well. P will be a bit nervous till he hears from them on Wednesday.
