You can make ghee out of butter and most non-healthy stuff is gone :yes:

OR.... use Healthy Balance or some ####### like that :P

Ghee recipe:

Ghee is an ingredient in many Middle Eastern dishes. It is also called clarified butter. Ghee can be quite expensive in the stores; making it in your own kitchen is easy and inexpensive. You can stores ghee in an airtight container on a pantry shelf.

Ingredients:

* 1 pound unsalted butter

Preparation:

Using a medium saucepan, heat butter on medium heat.

Allow butter to melt and bring to a boil, stirring. You will notice that the oil will separate itself. The top will begin to froth; remove froth.

Allow the oil to become clear. Once, clear, remove from heat and allow to cool for 15 minutes.

After cooling, strain ghee through a very fine strainer into container or jar, or through 3-5 layers of cheesecloth.

Put lid on container and store on shelf.

I just had the worst taxi experience. The driver drove all across town and I kept on telling him he was going all the way around and he just ignored me. The trip cost 20 euros instead of the usual 14. After 10 minutes the meter was 9 euros and we were three minutes away from where we had left - he just drove all the way to another part of town to then come back and drive into my direction, but then he took another pointless turn and it got worse. When I spoke to him, he completely ignored me, didn't say a word. When we got to my place, I told him I was so pissed off because usually I pay 14 and not 20 - still, no word from him. I only had 18 euros on me, so I had to pay with my cc. I asked him for his driver number to complain at the call center and he said if I wanted to, I could take a look at the back of his car. I was like "what? tell me your number" and he just said the same thing again.

I felt so bad, kind of violated in a weird way, I got home and called the call center (where they all know me because I get taxis there all the time), I actually lost it and cried for a few minutes on the phone. The guy on the phone was really sorry and said that he will pass it on to the business owner and that they will get rid of that driver. I still feel terrible though. Usually I am not that scared fast - I have been in crazy taxi rides all over the world - but this really got to me. Usually if you tell them that they are going the wrong way and they take longer than the usual price, they let you pay the regular price because it's their fault. The driver was this evil looking Russian, so I was even more scared to tell him off.

Sorry long post, but I am really upset. I can't stop crying, this guy freaked me out big time. I am always under control and feel safe, this is the first time in a long while that I felt like someone was in control of me.

:crying: :crying: :crying:

Yeah that sucks. Don't ever take a taxi in NYC, by the way! :wacko:

Subway's the way to go. Can't cheat you out of money. Almost every taxi I've been in has been like that. I'm glad they're getting rid of that guy for you though :)

NYC taxis are always annoying to me unless it's like 4am and I'm so drunk I don't know what's going on. I usually just walk or use the subway when I'm there. My friend always offers to let me use her car but driving in Manhattan is pointless.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.
