I had the worst metformin side effects last night. That's whatI get for having a glass of cider with dinner. I had to leave my friends and run home, I felt so nauseous, I thought I was going to be sick on the street. Plus I had a hotflash, the worst thing ever. I had to lie down on my bed, naked, with the window open (and we have frost) and I was still hot. Aww the joys of being a woman.

I hope you don't have to do that one that lasts like six hours. Maybe that's only for pregnant people but that test was horrible. The yucky orange stuff they make you drink that tastes like Tang powder doesn't help either.

mine is only 2hrs. I would flip if I had to do it for 6hrs!

Make sure you take some food with you to have after the last blodd test - I almost fainted and barely made it home.

I am in a dilemma. It's my filthy horrible janitor's birthday today. I thought it was tomorrow, but was dumb enough to ask her when it was when I saw her in the hallway yesterday. So now I kind of have to go downstairs and congratulate. She has no family and friends, so she is all by herself. I have no gift for her, since it's Sunday and everything is closed. Is it ok to just go tomorrow and congratulate a day later, but bring a gift? I really don't want to go today, I am lazy and in my PJs on the sofa.

Is it ok not to go? Can everyone just say yes, so I feel good about it? I know going downstairs would be the right thing to do. But I can't be arsed.

Nice Amber says bake something or make an extra portion for dinner and bring it to her. Lazy Amber says do it tomorrow. Money saving Amber agrees with Nice Amber and thinks you should bring her something you make so you don't spend money on a gift since she's your filthy janitor

Achhhhhhh...I made chicken soup, she can have that I feel terrible, this poor filthy old lady lived in the US when she was younger (like 50 years ago) and loszt her husband and two kids in a car accident. Then she transformed into filthy lady and had been living in this building for 30+ years. Everoyne hates her. She is loud, a chain smoker, and she is annoying as ####.

Done! Brought her the soup and some noodles I had cooked and she effing loved it, she got a bit teary even. Great idea Amber, thanks! Nothing beats a home cooked meal if you have no family and no one to love you. Plus she has a cold.

I feel good I did it and not stayed lazy on the sofa.
