I must say.... if I had the job I want, I would def. not spend all my working hours here *sigh* but this job is soooooooooooo lame that I am done in 2 hours a day. No kidding. And that is pretending to be busy as #######.

Today would have been my dad's 66 birthday. I think that tonight I'm gonna have cupcakes with the family in honor of him.

Awww the 12th would have been my dad's 72nd. He died when he was 65. I can't believe it's been that many years!!

Len, when we moved up here from NOLA, my ex labeled a box "Jen's Ridiculously Large and Highly Unnecessary Box of Shoes." Note, most of the shoes I still own......

I welled up at work today, thinking that if things go wrong, my Mom might not be around for the family vacation to NC next year September. That made me so sad, since it would mean so much to us. The constant fear of losing her is nerve wreaking sometimes. And because I am so sensitive to this, I am starting to worry about Pedro so much, that something happens to him and I lose him too. When he doesn't write to me at work before I leave at 6pm, I freak out and think he died in his sleep. I have some serious issues.

I made a carb free chocolate cake in the microwave!! It was so delicious!!

Thanks Len. This place is the only place (and with Pedro) where I talk about my worries with my Mom. I can hide my tears behind the screen and no one in here pitys me, but they understand and comfort. That is a really good feeling despite how sad it is.

My MIL drives me crazy. Her latest thing is, she makes one or two (new) posts on my FB wall for every thing that I do (status change, pictures, etc). It's a little too much!! would it be too rude to remove some of her posts???
