@marilyn: i hate pedi and mani, i have no patience to sit there and chit chat. if i was very good at doing it myself i'd never get one. i only do it when i'm about to go to the beach or for something special, my wedding, a big party, etc.

@len: i like herbal essences. right now i'm using the coconut shampoo and the conditioner for long hair. what i love about that hair conditioner is that i don;t need to use as much as any other i've tried. it's still a larger amount cuz my hair is really long, but like a bottle of dove go way faster for example.

Squirrel was recommending this routine:

1. L'Oreal shampoo

2. NO conditioner, but a mask treatment

3. Leave in conditioner (or not)

and then the usual styling products.

that's what i used to do in brazil, a mask treatment instead of shampoo. but it's too expensive for a hair this long. i dont use styling products. i leave the house with it wet and let it dry by itself. some days it looks nice, some dont, depends on the weather. but i dont give a dayum. most days i tie anyway, cuz i can't stand the hair all over me. now that summer is over i'll start wearing it down again.
