Hi guys.

I got some questions about filling out the I130 and G325a. Hopefully you won´t find the to stupid.

I130 :

Q 17 List husband/wife and all children of your relative.

Does my husband write himself there or not since he already marked husband/wife i Q1?

Q21. If filing for your husband/wife, give last address at which you lived together.

I´m visiting him for two months in the US,should we give that adress or the one where we lived together in Germany (end of 2008)?

Q 22 Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status.

Does he write anything here since I am not applying for that since I´ll be in Sweden for the process? I mean the left part where you fill out at which consular post abroad I will be applying at.

G325a:

Where I list my residence do I fill out places I have lived at twice, but with another residence in between, two times?

Then I wont be able to fit my employment record for the last five years in the rows avalible,I know I´m supposed to attach a extra paper with all information but do I send 4 copies of that aswell or just 1?

This form is submitted in connection with an application for: I check other here and write I130 right?

Just trying to sort everything out before I file.

Thanks in advance guys, you are great!

Q 17 List husband/wife and all children of your relative.

Does my husband write himself there or not since he already marked husband/wife i Q1?

Yes - the USC spouse would also be listed here.

Q21. If filing for your husband/wife, give last address at which you lived together.

I´m visiting him for two months in the US,should we give that adress or the one where we lived together in Germany (end of 2008)?

Since you're just visiting now - you should probably list your address in Germany.

Q 22 Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status.

Does he write anything here since I am not applying for that since I´ll be in Sweden for the process? I mean the left part where you fill out at which consular post abroad I will be applying at.

You'll probably leave the left portion blank and complete the right portion.

G325a:

Where I list my residence do I fill out places I have lived at twice, but with another residence in between, two times?

Yes

Then I wont be able to fit my employment record for the last five years in the rows avalible,I know I´m supposed to attach a extra paper with all information but do I send 4 copies of that aswell or just 1?

Most folks make 4 total copies of any supplement pages - one for each page/copy of the G-325A.

This form is submitted in connection with an application for: I check other here and write I130 right?

Yes

Again...another question.

In the swedish alphabet we have 3 letters then english don´t. Should I use them? They are present in names ( not mine but my fathers) and adresses.

Or should I use a and o instead of the swedish å, ä and ö?

I think, you have to write it down only for your name, there's a space provided if your name was written other than the english alphabet.

Yeah, but how should I spell for example my dads name in the application? With the swedish Ö or not? This is what´s confusing me...

It´s feels like I should use the spelling that´s on my birthcert, right? With the Ö.

Then I wont be able to fit my employment record for the last five years in the rows avalible,I know I´m supposed to attach a extra paper with all information but do I send 4 copies of that aswell or just 1?

Most folks make 4 total copies of any supplement pages - one for each page/copy of the G-325A.

How many copies of G-325 did you guys include in your I-130 document pack? I thought it said in the USCIS I-130 instructions that we should submit one copy each of the wife and husband's G-325. I was looking for instructions about how many copies but couldn't finy any. Did I miss something?

I'll be the guinea pig-my husband did the old form, I did the new one (and only sent one)!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!
