Hello guys.... thanks to all of you! Got pink slip yesterday! :star:

I will be sharing you my interview experience.......

My interview date was August 4, 2009 at 8:30am. A night before couldn't sleep.... so tense.... hehehehe.... but i kept telling myself why should I be tense since our marriage is bonafide (true / it isn't fixed or what - it is based on attraction and love...). But then, you can't help it.... imagining infront of the consul.... interrogated.... heheheheh just a normal reaction or feeling....

Anyway, the following morning, I said to myself, this is it.... I should go there.... hehehehehe.... at about 630 am fortrose texted me that she is already at the embassy while I am still at seven eleven heheheheh having coffee... I ate a bit since I was thinking that it would be a long day...

At about 7am, I was already at the US embassy. The guard checked my appointment letter and my ID. And then he told me to proceed to gate 2. Actually inside I don't know where to go, but I just followed the blue arrow indicating for IMMIGRANT VISA.

Inside, there is a booth.... I showed again my appointment letter and then the girl handed me a no. and said to wait for my number to be called... that's the first step... I believe.... I waited in the waiting area.... and then someone called my name and told me to proceed to counter 16 for finger printing... while waiting for my turn... I saw fortrose ( I recognized her because we texted each other what we will be wearing hehehehehe).... at the finger printing....you have to state your name and your date of birth.... then the finger printing...... (there is someone who will be assisting you for that... so dont worry, just bring hanky incase your hands / fingers will be wet.... it cant be scanned..) After then, the one who assisted me told me to wait again for my no. to be called..... which will be the next step..... this step is the pre-screening step.... got 6045 no...., about 10 minutes my number flashed to window 25..... I felt nervous.... I said to myself, this is the beginning of the interview.... A Filipino lady screener.... she's quit strict..... she asked me few questions..... my name, date of birth, relation to my petitioner, where I met him, when did he come here, marriage date.... after which she told me if we have pictures together... so I handed her so many pics.... in a clearbook.... I pasted it hehehehehe. but then it is too many... she told me to just get it out of the clearbook.... so I gave it to her... after which she asked me if we have emails.... again,,, I had printed bulks of emails hahahhahahaha........ she told me to get it out from the clearbook because it can't pass through the window..... so I handed it to her....... (it seems she is so irritated hahahahha since it needs to be filed again).... hahahhahaha  after receiving that emails she handed me the DS 230 (Biographic info that we have submitted and let me sign the portion that wasn't signed...) then she told me to wait for I will be called again....... After about 20 minutes of waiting my number flashed again at then I went inside the room..... and saw a handsome young American consul (he is handsome but my husband is more handsome than him.... hehehehehehe  ) He greeted me "Magandang Umaga po" I also greeted back "Magandang Umaga po sir" I thought it would be all in English hahahahhaa..... I took a seat.... and he said to raise my right hand and asked me if I would promise to tell only the truth.... He asked me my name.... and then examined my papers..... and later asked. "Why didn't you marry at an early age? I told him... I haven't found the right man for me at that time until I found my hubby.... He just looked at me....maybe not satisfied with my answer..... He told me that I just wonder because many Filipinas would marry at an early age.... I answered again... that I haven't found the right guy for me at that time..... I wasn't thinking of age...... He again look at my papers and asked me .... Have you been out of the country and I said yes... I told him 3 countries and that I was there as a tourist..... He asked me again if I have a CEMAR.... and I said yes... I gave it to him... He examined it.... through that ultraviolet thing... heheheheh just like examining money if it is fake or not.... and after few minutes he stamped my papers... green stamped and told me.... YOUR VISA is approved"" And I said "Thank you, sir!" He told me to go to counter 37 and the girl gave me a pink slip... it states VISA FEE DELIVERY.... so I went and paid it at air21... which is at another booth....

After then,,,, I was so relieved! The first thing on my mind is to "Thank God!" And thank you all of YOU!!!

And to all who will be having their interviews.... GOODLUCK!!! And GOD BLess!!! :star:
