Anybody had walk in Biometrics experience in Austin,TX?

Biometrics Appointment is on 8/20/2009 in Austin,TX, wonder if I can go early to do a walk in one.

ROC

7/12 - Sent I-751 Package by USPS

7/15 - Package was delivered at 11am

7/15 - Date of NOA

7/19 - Check was cashed

7/19 - NOA letter was received

7/28 - Biometrics letter received, date- 8/23/2011

8/01 - Early Biometric was done

11/15 - Card Production ordered

11/19 - 10 years Green Card arrived.

Just try it and see; a lot of people have posted about their walk in experience and don't think i have read a post where somebody said they were not allowed to do a walk in. Most went in successfully. I did it myself and I was in houston. Shouldn't be a problem in ATX.

2009-01-28===> NOA's received in the mail
2009-02-01===> Biometric appt received in the mail
2009-02-06===> Completed biometric appt thru walk-in
2009-02-06===> Applied for expedited AP thru the phone
2009-02-14===> Received AP in the mail
2009-02-11===> Case transferred to CSC
2009-02-23===> EAD received
2009-05-02===> Green card received in the mail, no interview done.

I didn't walk-in, but I did get there insanely early (I was expecting to have trouble finding the place, and getting across town during rush hour). I was in and out in five minutes, way before my appointment time.
