As you can see above Luz finally got her NOA1, in fact she got two copies of the same thing. :wacko:

There is a contradiction in the wording that I don't understand. Let me quote it and ask if everyone else has the same thing.

In order to further process your petition, you will be receiving an Application Support Center (ASC) appointment notice with a specific time, date and location to capture your fingerprints, photo and signature. You MUST wait for your appointment notice before going to the ASC for biometric processing.

The next paragraph seems to say the exact opposite.

NOTE: Conditional resident applicants, including conditional resident dependents residing overseas pursuant to military or government orders WILL NOT RECEIVE and ASC appointment notice. To complete biometric processing, these applicants must submit the required items listed on the I-751 form instructions.

To be clear we submitted a lot of evidence with the application. What does this mean? Is this the same thing everyone else got?

Gary the second paragraph is for people who live overseas. You eveidence is received and nothing nmore is needed. You know the USCIS always wording things in such a manner as to confuse peeps :) Yes the letter is the same that we received

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

Odd.

Added our case number to our (now old) portfolio on the USCIS site - (using the biometrics appointment EAC#) and instead of listing the I-751, it lists a previously submitted I-865 (sponsor address change which we did send in several months ago..). Way to go CRIS.. :wacko: (We'll see what happens after the biometrics.)

Check cleared on 8/18/2009 according to my bank but when I view the check it shows a date of 8/14/09 plus a bunch of numbers and letters on the front of it that they wrote.

Still waiting for NOA.
