They didn't even ask to see his extension letter at customs.

So just to clarify, you're saying that your husband entered back into the US with a Conditional GC which which had an expired date? I understand the computer may have a more updated status, but at least with regard to the physical GC card he was carrying, it was expired at the time of his entry? Is that correct? Interesting.

Yes. GC expired in October. I would imagine they have the information in their computer, but I thought it was interesting that they didn't even ask to see the letter.

I got my approval letter in the mail today.... YEAH YEAH YEAH... I am finally on the list of approved.. OMG!!! So please add my Approval Date 12/21/09. Up until Thursday my status was not updated online or did not receive a text message.

I got a text this morning at 6:15a saying my status has been updated. When I checked online it say card production ordered 12/29, and I also got an email. 8 days after my application was approved.... I am not complaining though... I am happy :dance:

Hi..I just got text MSG with a status change to my case "stating the GC is being printed". So looks like they are making some updates to the website. We received the approval letter about 10 days ago.

Hopefully the rest of the August filers will get some type of status before the end of the year.

To be honest, I was a little worried about this ...:D I got my approval letter on Dec 7...then I saw my online status updated to Card Production or something...the last circle.

Then a few days after, it was changed to post review (the second to the last circle).

Like...what's going on??

Anyway, I got my greencard today! It was mailed 12/22 :)

I did my biometrics twice and even on the second time, they had probs getting my fingerprint ... but looks like they were able to get a good one coz I have my fingerprint on the GC!

This is it for now. So what's next, what's next?

I was married on Oct 2006. My GC says resident since Aug 2007. When can I go to the next step? Or is this the wrong forum for this now? :D

90 days before your third residency anniversary (August 2010) you can apply for naturalization.

I found VSC filer "PILOTINSKY" was Patrick n Olivia's former username. (Confirmed by P n O)

So, I deleted PILOTINSKY from VSC list.
