I got my approval letter in the mail today.... YEAH YEAH YEAH... I am finally on the list of approved.. OMG!!! So please add my Approval Date 12/21/09. Up until Thursday my status was not updated online or did not receive a text message.

Congrats to you, i filed my lifting of status Last October 27 and they got it Nov 2 and had my biometrics Dec. 10 and it's really amazing that my green card arrived Dec. 23 I also filed it on california office, they are working really fast this days... Thanks God.

I hope that there are more people who got their approval letters but busy with the holiday and can't update their status. We are still sitting at 68.75% approvals for August.

I'm hoping my husband doesn't have trouble getting back into the country tomorrow with his extension letter, with all the "security" measures.

Is that normal guys for not updating the online status for more than 2 weeks???

The status online may never change, even after you receive your card and even many months after.

They didn't even ask to see his extension letter at customs.

Glad to hear that he was able to enter without any problems.

Most probably, when the officer scanned his GC, he already saw the date is extended....
