Hi..our 1751 package was sign for on Aug 8 and the check for the fees is showing up as a pending transaction at my bank today. So it should be cleared tonight.

I do have a question. I fail to put a copy of our marriage certificate in the package. I had it listed as one the documents that was included in the package on the cover sheet but some how flat forgot :cry2: to put a copy in the package. In my opinion that should not make a difference since clearly the marriage exist for my I30 application to get approved.

Do you think I will still get the NOA without any delay?? My husband current GC expires Oct 26 so we have time but it would certain be wonderful if we can just get this part behind us B)

Why would we need to send a marriage certificate if they got one during the AOS process?

I noticed someone got an NOA1 from the VSC so hopefully we will get ours in the mail in the next day or so. We are off to worlds of fun in KC for the weekend in the morning, hopefully it will be in our mailbox when we get back.

I didn't send my marriage certificat either. It dosn't say anything about that in the instructions.

Hi, all! Our I-751 arrived Monday and the check for our fee cleared last night (Thursday).

Maybe VSC is grinding away at our apps.

The cheque for the I-751 was cashed today :thumbs:

YAY Melo and I will be filing around the same time! :D I'm planning to send hubby's in next week.

I have missed all of you so much.... thought I would see some of you folks on the Bazaar... but then I have not been spending much time there either!!! :wacko:

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT

Mailed my packet August 13th. Greencard Expires November 13th. 2009.

So, exactly what is the NOA1? Is it the letter that extends the Green Card one year?

Does it also set the appointment for the biometrics?
