Any VCS folks have any touches besides the day after their Bio? We haven't had a touch since.

Nothing since the day after biometrics.

Its not only in VJ there is alot of Philipines. At my work 70% are Philipines. And they are talking their own language so I sometimes feel that I am not in USA. But anyways California is the closest place for them to immigrate and no wonder that CSC has alot of them

Alot of Philipines are filing to CSC and therefore alot of Philipine approvals in CSC.

Hey all, I didn't mean to create any discussion. Sorry if I did... I have NOTHING against Philippines and, in fact, I've been there, worked there and like the people in general. My only comment was regarding the approvals. That I think there is more Filipinos at VJ (and I don't have anything against it. As I said, I wish there were more Brazilians here) and therefore we see more approvals for them.

As far as I know, there are only 2 centers to submit I-751, either Vermont or California, and California deals with cases not only from California, but from many other states.

Yes - both service centers serve more than just the state they're physically located in - a common practice with USCIS for a while now, as it's not as if they have a service center in all 50 states! (Reading the instructions on the I 751 shows you the broad area that both centers cover.)

received an email re: Approval Notice Sent dated 10/06/09

REMOVING CONDITIONAL STATUS ( green card will expire on October 24, 2009)

08/24/09..... Sent out my form I- 751

08/26/09..... Package received and was signed by V. SEMEGI

08/27/09..... Check processed

08/31/09..... I-797C, NOA1 received (conditional status extended for 1 year)

09/14/09..... Received my ASC appointment letter for my Biometrics which will be on September 26. 2009 @ 1pm

09/26/09..... Fingerprinting done (an hour early and they let me in and was surprise coz i was the only applicant till i was done)

10/02/09..... Card Production Ordered (email message)

10/06/09..... Approval Notice Sent (email message)

10/08/09..... I- 797C, NOA2 received in the mail

10/09/09..... 10 Year Green Card on hand..... YAHOO!!!!

Good for you, :thumbs: but total BULL$hit for the rest of us filing in CSC region, unreal there are several of us that filed a lot earlier than others and still no approval even with doing biometrics at date earlier than you, this sucks, once again Dept of Dysfunction and Immigration, and people want the USA federal government to handle our health insurance, I do not think so, after dealing with USCIS, we have never experienced such a dysfunctional inept bunch of jackoffs, no wonder there are so many illegals aliens and they refuse to file properly for visa or immigration, only those of us that do it the right way only get punished and given total run around. Federal USA government sucks and does not work worth a damn, clear example with USCIS another mis-managed government agency. :angry:

Hi guys

received an email from USCIS yesterday stating that my card has been ordered for production So excited !!! But most of all , thank you VJ. Thank you for all the advise, help and information I received from all of you. I would never have made it through without you all. If all our World leaders would work together in harmony like everyone does in Visa journey , they would be no WARS or conflicts. We would all live in love, peace and harmony.Once again thank you and best of luck to everyone.

Congrats to those who are approved! :dance: wow 5-10 business days after bio. What's the secret? Bright Yellow/Neon/Hallucianting jacket folder???? :huh:

There was no secret. Honestly, I only used a plain light brown envelope for mailing. I did not placed my papers in a folder either I just used a paper clip to clip them together coz it was that thin... only less than 30 pages total. I was even expecting that I am going to receive an RFE letter. I was so worried coz I only check VJ right after I send my papers and saw all the VJ members send a lot of stuff like: pictures, 2/3 years of statements, bills that has both names and etc. This are the only requirements i sent out:

1. Birth Certificate of our 14 month old son

2. Joint federal and state tax return of 2008

3. Joint checking accounts and joint time deposits or cd's (latest statement)

4. My hubby's life insurance with my name as the primary benificiary

5. Two letters from our friends

I don't know how the USCIS do there job. We just don't know.

I already received my NOA2 today 10/08/09 in the mail.
