Hey people! John had his biometrics on Sept 29th! I dunno why its not on the list, I thought I put it on there, oh well! It went off without a hitch. We got there and hour early, they let him in then, and he was out in like 10 minutes! Hopefully we will get a card production order soon!!

06/19/07: AOS/EAD packet finally off in the mail!

06/21/07: Package arrived in Chicago (Day 1)

06/27/07: NOA1 recieved for I-130 and EAD and I-485 (Day 6)

06/30/07: I-130 and EAD and I-485 *touched* (Day 9)

07/12/07: RFE for proof of joint sponsor's citizenship (Day 21)

07/21/07: Biometrics Appointment in Atlanta (Day 31)

07/23/07: Returned RFE with wanted documents arrives in Missouri (Day 33)

07/25/07: I-485 *touched* (Day 35)

09/06/07: EAD Card Production Ordered (Day 77)

09/12/07: EAD Card recieved in the mail!!! (Day 83)

Received a letter from USCIS at the VSC returning my wife's old drivers license that must have accidentally slipped in the package somehow!

The letter just states, dated 30th September, "Enclosed are your original documents that you have requested, as they are no longer needed"

Thought that was interesting and nice that they would return it!

February, 06: Sent I-129f package to the US to be routed to Vermont

February, 09: I-129f forwarded to Vermont USCIS from US Home

February, 12: I-129f arrives VSC :) Journey really starts!

February, 13: NOA1 Reciept date

February, 16: VSC Cashes the check

March, 09: NOA2 Email. yay!

March, 11: Touched... Probably for the last time at VSC :)

March, 14: NVC Recieved package

March, 15: NVC Sent package to London

March, 20: Package recieved in London

March, 28: Packet 3 recieved!

April, 2: Packet 3 Sent back to London

April, 10: Packet 3 recieved by London Embassy

April, 17: Packet 4 recieved

May, 1: Medical

May, 29: Interview! - APPROVED

June, 1: Visa in Hand

July 18: Fly back together POE

July, 24: Legally married!

July 27: Filed for AOS

July 30: AOS recieved in Chiacgo

August 24: NOA1 for EAD, AP and AOS

September 15: Real Marriage with friends and family

September 18: Biometrics

October 3: EAD card production ordered!

Noticed that all the 10 yr GC approvals coming through CSC for month of August are all filers from the Philippines and one Australian. Would appear that the FBI/Interpol background check must move at a very fast pace through those two countries compared to all the others, thus resulting in such fast approvals. :thumbs:

I had a touch on the day, day after and the day after... so 3 total, nothing since the 28th.

I don't expect any touches or anything till January

February, 09: I-129f forwarded to Vermont USCIS from US Home

February, 12: I-129f arrives VSC :) Journey really starts!

February, 13: NOA1 Reciept date

February, 16: VSC Cashes the check

March, 09: NOA2 Email. yay!

March, 11: Touched... Probably for the last time at VSC :)

March, 14: NVC Recieved package

March, 15: NVC Sent package to London

March, 20: Package recieved in London

March, 28: Packet 3 recieved!

April, 2: Packet 3 Sent back to London

April, 10: Packet 3 recieved by London Embassy

April, 17: Packet 4 recieved

May, 1: Medical

May, 29: Interview! - APPROVED

Noticed that all the 10 yr GC approvals coming through CSC for month of August are all filers from the Philippines and one Australian. Would appear that the FBI/Interpol background check must move at a very fast pace through those two countries compared to all the others, thus resulting in such fast approvals. :thumbs:

I guess you have a point but on the other hand, we have to remember that VJ is a real small sample (I don't even think it is considered a statistical sample) of all the applications they receive. And I notice Philippines has a large representative population here at VJ. I recently joined VJ (few months ago) and I wonder how many other Brazilians out there are submitting their applications (many I believe, but they haven't found VJ yet...)

I don't really know if FBI/Interpol background check are faster for Philippines, maybe we are seeing more approvals because there are more Filipinos posting their timelines here.

I am not saying you are wrong, I am in no position to say who is right or wrong, we never know what really goes on with USCIS. But I have to confess you make an interesting point... I will try to see any pattern for applicants from other months.

09/2007 - Submitted AOS to VSC

12/2007 - AOS approved

09/2009 - Submitted I-751 to CSC

10/2009 - ROC approved (1 month 2 days from receipt date)

01/2011 - Biometrics (twice)

02/2011 - Citizenship Interview and Civics Test

04/2011 - Oath Ceremony/American Citizen
