Ok Biometrics were done today. They took my son also with no problems even his appointment was Sept 8. There were no people there so they, so we didn't hardly sit down. The whole thing took about 20 min :thumbs:

Now I am excited to check online everyday

Just updated my NOA receipt info. Waiting for my biometrics letter. I tried to check my case status but it didn't work...my NOA says I have to wait for my ASC appointment notice before I can start checking the status of my case...is this true?

Ok, mine was sent to VSC on the 19th, arrived 20th, check cashed on the 24th, and today I received my Biometrics appointment (notice date, 1st September) for the 25th September.

I'm going to need my NOA1 to renew my drivers license, but it looks like I am not getting one :(

What'd I tell ya!!?? ;) Oh ye of little faith. Ha. I don't even have bio yet so you're already ahead of us! :D What was the date on your NOA1?

Haha I will listen to you more in the future! But that's the thing - I don't have a NOA1 :( Just the biometrics letter...

I have the same thing....got my bio date letter for 9/29 but no NOA1 for 1 yr extenstion yet....

Are we really ahead of everybody? :whistle:

Case is also showing up online using the number from the bio letter

February, 09: I-129f forwarded to Vermont USCIS from US Home

February, 12: I-129f arrives VSC :) Journey really starts!

February, 13: NOA1 Reciept date

February, 16: VSC Cashes the check

March, 09: NOA2 Email. yay!

March, 11: Touched... Probably for the last time at VSC :)

March, 14: NVC Recieved package

March, 15: NVC Sent package to London

March, 20: Package recieved in London

Okay...so I am starting to wonder. My wife's I-751 was mailed on 8-14-09 and through the post office, it wasn't received until 8-24-09. I saw that the check was cashed that same day. Since that time, I have not heard anything from the USCIS. I never received an NOA1 and I tried to look-up the case in the USCIS website, based on what I could decipher from the face of the check and it said "case not found". Any suggestions??? Starting to worry a bit.

You sound like me! I was freaking out and TracyTN helped me realize nothing was wrong. My check was cashed on the 24th too, and I didn't receive my NOA1 till today... It was sent September 4th... It may just be behind like mine was. Don't worry - it will show up. The number on the check is not the same as the case number. The real case number is on the Bio letter.
