Interesting, Luz and Robin did their biometrics at 11 am and already they both got a touch. I guess that means the bio information made it into their files. :thumbs:

I'm starting to worry a bit too. We sent our forms in and they were received on 8/24/09 (by the return receipt from USPS) and the check was cashed the same day. I haven't gotten an NOA1 yet. I looked at my check and tried to enter the case number I saw in the USCIS site for a status and it's not coming up. I don't know what's up. I was worried my evidences of bonafide marriage were a little light and I might get an RFE, but we'll see. Hope it arrives soon cause I am wearing out the mailbox checking it every day. :)

Mine was cashed out on Aug 19th, no NOA1 yet with VSC.

I m tryin to have look on the image print of the check for the case number; it didn't print clearly.

2011 Nov: Voluntarily Abandoned PR green card (due to relocation oversea). Received FREE B1/B2 & C1/D Crew US visa

2024 APR: Planned for EB2-C from Taiwan as Professional Pilot

Luz did her Biometrics today. As some of you may know, Robin got a Bio date of Sept 15. They did allow him to do his today and save us another 6 hour round trip. I found it amusing that they made it a point to tell him that this is the only time they would do this. The next time he would have to come on his appointment day. I didn't bother to tell the fool that this would be the last time he would need to do a biometrics since this is for removing conditions or point out that they would have to have the memory of an elephant to remember him. Oh well, all's well that ends well.

If you're planning to naturalize them - or just renew the 10 year GC - another round of bio.

Ok, mine was sent to VSC on the 19th, arrived 20th, check cashed on the 24th, and today I received my Biometrics appointment (notice date, 1st September) for the 25th September.

I'm going to need my NOA1 to renew my drivers license, but it looks like I am not getting one :(

February, 09: I-129f forwarded to Vermont USCIS from US Home

February, 12: I-129f arrives VSC :) Journey really starts!

February, 13: NOA1 Reciept date

February, 16: VSC Cashes the check

March, 09: NOA2 Email. yay!

March, 11: Touched... Probably for the last time at VSC :)

March, 14: NVC Recieved package

March, 15: NVC Sent package to London

March, 20: Package recieved in London

March, 28: Packet 3 recieved!

April, 2: Packet 3 Sent back to London

April, 10: Packet 3 recieved by London Embassy

April, 17: Packet 4 recieved

May, 1: Medical

May, 29: Interview! - APPROVED

June, 1: Visa in Hand

July 18: Fly back together POE

July, 24: Legally married!

July 27: Filed for AOS

July 30: AOS recieved in Chiacgo

August 24: NOA1 for EAD, AP and AOS

If they can remember Robin 3 years from now when he naturalizes then more power to them. The whole problem came about because they gave Luz and Robin different bio dates. A three hour drive each way and missed work for each appointment was the rub. I am glad they allowed it but it was amusing that they tried to make it look like they were doing us a big favor. There were only 2 other people in there at the time, it wasn't like they were swamped.

I didn't mean that they'd remember him - I was commenting on you saying that you wouldn't be in this situation again because you were removing conditions. You may be in that sitch again if you renew the 10 year GC/apply for natz for the both of them at the same time (and they again get diff bio dates).

Haha I will listen to you more in the future! But that's the thing - I don't have a NOA1 :( Just the biometrics letter...

DOH If I could READ!!! :whistle: I'd call the misinformation line and tell them of your dilemma. They should be able to reissue one. But maybe give it til Tuesday or so. Maybe it just got caught in a slow mail line.

I am having my bio taken today and my sons appoinment is Sept 8. I will bring him anyways since it was the same thing last time that we didn't have the same date. Back then is was no problem.

But there are really buttholes in the emigration field which I have experienced in other situation during my visa journey. We just have to ignore some of these guys.

I still wonder why on earth do they welcome walk ins for BIO and then they react this way?
