I would have been part of the August group since my 90 days would be on the 27th of Aug, but we have decided (or should I say "I") to file on the 3rd of Sept. Our paperwork was ready to go since July, just didn't want to send it early. So right now, it still has 4 days to sit in the safe, waiting patiently.

I just wanted to ask if anyone has done a walk-in biometrics? How open are they to it? I don't think it will be absolutely necessary for me, but it might be, depending on certain things.. My bio appt is at Cleveland, and I MIGHT have to go to a meeting in Akron too.. They're not terribly far apart, so hitting them both on the same day would be possible, but less stress is always better. Any ideas will be very welcome :) Thanks guys.

Hello fellow filers.... I received today my I-797C, NOA Receipt Notice.

Can anyone pls. update me... I don't know how to do it.... hehehe!!!!

I have a question... Is this the letter that I'll be using together with my expired green card when I travel abroad? I already have plain tickets for my vacation back home on Jan. 2010. I hope this it..... And hoping that I'm not going to received an RFE letter.

08/24/09..... Sent out my form I- 751

08/26/09..... Package received and was signed by V. SEMEGI

08/27/09..... Check processed

08/31/09..... I-797C, NOA1 received (conditional status extended for 1 year)

09/14/09..... Received my ASC appointment letter for my Biometrics which will be on September 26. 2009 @ 1pm

09/26/09..... Fingerprinting done (an hour early and they let me in and was surprise coz i was the only applicant till i was done)

10/02/09..... Card Production Ordered (email message)

10/06/09..... Approval Notice Sent (email message)

10/08/09..... I- 797C, NOA2 received in the mail

10/09/09..... 10 Year Green Card on hand..... YAHOO!!!!

Hello fellow filers.... I received today my I-797C, NOA Receipt Notice.

Can anyone pls. update me... I don't know how to do it.... hehehe!!!!

I have a question... Is this the letter that I'll be using together with my expired green card when I travel abroad? I already have plain tickets for my vacation back home on Jan. 2010. I hope this it..... And hoping that I'm not going to received an RFE letter.
