New G-325A form

Was pointed out in a post, there is a new version of the G-325A.

It has only 2 pages, one page you fill out, one instruction sheet.

I called USCIS today and they told me the new form only requires this "one" page. (no more sending in 4 copies).

As long as you use the new form, your good to go with one.

Old form, as always, requires whatever number they needed (ie 4).

I did mention that the page linked above still says "4" - but they assure me it is error.

Karin und Otto called and got the opposite answer as you did. MISinformation line again. I don't understand why the most conservative advice shouldn't remain to use the old version or continue to send in 4 copies with orig. signatures of the new version, as the previous versions accepted means that it is still correct to do it the old way.

Edit: Tbone, there are threads about this in nearly all the forums where this is required....

Fields on the new G325A form are smaller as well... When you type your date of birth (DOB), it doesn't show the complete DOB; when you print it, it only shows month and day!!

On the Employment sections: Company name and address doesn't fit. I need more space than 5 lines they provide..

Any suggestions on the above two issues?

My recommendation is that you acquire the old version (also accepted according to USCIS website) and send in 4 originally signed copies.

My hunch is that for AOS the 4 copies isn't as vital as for the initial visa apps, but maybe one goes with EAD, AP and the AOS itself... :-/

I guess it depends on how much of a hurry you are in. Do you want to be the VJ guinea pig?

It is a PITA.

Not for nothing, but find a manual typewriter at Kinkos, your local public library, or on Ebay and set it up for 12-15 characters per inch.

Alternatively, attach an additional sheet and attach it to the G-325A with everything written out and fill up the G-325 form with "see attached." Lots of folks do this to better explain the circumstances where they met on the I-129F. List the additional sheet in your Table of Contents.
