I think it is so stupid.I had this cell phone and I guess my friend wanted it because it was one of those high-tech jobbers.He asked me about it on Saturday and I told him that I gave it to my SO when I went to Panama.So my friend just starts spazzing out and yelling at me and calling my SO a "montanero"(hillbilly).So I opened the door and told him to leave my house,NOT to come back and that I never wanted to speak to him again !

I just ended a 20 year friendship because the person would not stop speaking ill of my SO.

It's ok. You'll be friends again when you're divorced.

I doubt it because he likes to take advantage of my generosity !

Sort of. I had a 14 year friendship recently end because her SO was an azz. Emotionally abusive to her, me, his kids, her kids, etc. He is the same one who hasn't had a job in about 4 years b/c he's too lazy, and then when P got a job about a week after getting his GC said "Oh nice. I'm so tired of foreigners coming to this country and taking all our jobs." Dude...really? Can you be a software engineer? Oh wait...you would rather let your wife work two jobs so you can stay home and play WoW.

In the end, I couldn't take him any more so I've had to distance myself from her. It's a shame really, but what do you do?

My friend Victor had plenty of bad stuff to say about Onelis (ex-gf). It made our friendship a little strained at the time. But, by the time I met Leidys, he was like, "What gives? I have someone nice for you to meet in Chihuahua, Mexico!" I told him, "Nope, Leidys is the one!" He wanted me to meet his wife's best amiga from Chihuahua. No THANKS. I'm crazy for LEIDYS!

I'm talking about Fernando,remember him ? The wife gave him the boot after getting her GC and citizenship.He spazzed out over a Blackberry Storm.

You have to remember, Fernando has been through a lot. The poor guy nearly died from the stress that woman caused him. But, to call Manuel a Montanero? That's a bit extreme. You can't just quit being friends with someone that quickly. Give him some time to appologize - I'm sure he will in time.

I've had to distance myself from one of my bestest friends...she and I have been friends since our teenage years. Anywho, when I became a (GASP!) divorced woman, he didn't want her around me much because I would have been a bad influence on her. She told me how he felt about me (gee thanks friend) so I got upset and spoke my mind about it, she defended him, and got upset with me. Needless to say we've not seen each other in years.

Oh well. I guess that's one way to tell who your real friends are, eh?

I would have done the same, if anyone ever said anything about my paisa they would no longer be my freind. There are a few people I no longer speak as they stated he was marrying me for the GC ( Jerks )
