Wonderful Notice in the mail today! :dance:

Just got my Biometrics Appointment Notice and I'm wondering if it would matter if I'll have it done earlier than the scheduled date. I've also read that other people can go through a walk-in process. Should I call my assigned center if this would be possible.

I may sound impatient by I just wanna get this done and over with, besides I don't have much better things to do right now anyway. :lol:

It doesn't matter if you have it done earlier - most ASC's allow walk-ins - it just gets it over with quicker.

What city is your ASC in? (Perhaps someone has precise information about it.)

If it's not far, you can try a walk-in. I wouldn't go out of my way though, if it's a very far ride for you.

I went in today to do my biometrics. I went in two weeks early. They had no problem with me coming in and doing it early. I went to the philly location.

AOS Process

May 29th 2008- AOS/EAD/I-130 Sent to Chicaogo Lock Box sent via Overnight Delivery

June 6th - Both checks cashed!!

June 25th - Biometrics appointment

Sept. 19th - Card Production Ordered! (113 days since filing)

Sept. 25th - EAD Received!!!

Dec. 5th 2008 - Received appointment letter

Feb. 4th 2009 - AOS Interview (Interviewer says going to recommend for approval)

May 15th- called and talked to an officer to submit a service request

June 10th- Made an infopass appointment,

June 15th- Info pass appointment, told me they could do nothing until the officer made their decision!

June 27 - Filed for I-131 as well as renewal of my work authorization.

July 23rd- Received I-131

Dec 22, 2009 - Biometrics appointment yet again.

January 21, 2010 Second interview

January 22nd - I-485 Touched

January 27th - Received a Request for additonal evidence.

May 27 I-485 Approved

June 13th 2010 - Green card received!

Hello I had my biometrics also in Michigan City last Thurs...and it was like a ghost town... Im the only 1 that they are assisting my time is 1pm but we got there by 12 & im done in 10min they just check the appointement letter & my passport...well anyway goodluck
