Thanks everyone and I do wish anyone who is waiting the best of luck. I tell you this news couldn't have come at a better time for me. I was feeling really depressed and what wonderful news I received. I started crying and couldn't breath. :lol: I'm a firm believer in contacting your Governor, if you filed a K-1 and already had your interview, and it's been one year since it was sent off.

Congrats! I got an email today that was very similar, (I'm guessing the "ES" is initials? because that was on mine, also) telling me that my husband "should" send his passport to the office for visa issuance, but since they kept his visa at the interview, I am a little confused about that. And now it's the weekend so i dunno what's going on :P We had our hopes up last week when we saw some movement on DHL and had those hopes dashed, so I don't want to be disappointed like that again.

I emailed the Cairo Embassy as I do once a week and 15 minutes ago, this is what I received. :dance:

I was at my worse ever feeling very depressed and something told me to check my email and there it was. I will tell you guys, I can't thank you all enough for the help you have given me through these months.

I also want to tell those that are waiting.. Have ur SO contact their Governors office. If not for them this wouldn't have happened as fast as it did. July 14th made a year ago I filed, I mailed my Governor and in 2 weeks AP was over. Please don't give up and contact those Governors.. it won't hurt, but can help. Wishing you all the very best of luck.

I hope that he will get the visa soon .

It seems like they sent that Emil to everyone today or yesterday.

I'm kinda confused . i wonder why they waited us to send them Emails to ask about our status and then they asked us to send our passports back .

Why they did not call us ?!!!!!!!

They even sent the same Eamil and asked some to send their passports and they already have them !!!!!!!!!!

anyway i hope that we will get it soon .

** I have tried 3 times to add my timeline and it won't accept the date I put for my NOA2. Nothing more I can do as i'm filling it out correctly, but I will add it to my timeline in my signature.

In fact I called DOS and they said I'm still under AP .
